Angel Wings are One-of-a-Kind
Iconic angel wings meet one-of-a-kind products in this unique #ArtLives collaboration. We have partnered with Denver’s Kelsey Montague to create a limited edition run of unique products. Montague created a custom billboard to be posted in Los Angeles for two weeks before RAREFORM repurposes it into bags. Own a little piece of art that has seen the skyline of Los Angeles and has been viewed by millions.
This unique sustainability campaign showcases art in an unconventional way, beautifying an urban enviornment. This will be the third time we have partnered with an artist to see their art presented in a new medium. This type of event lets us revolutionize how people see outdoor advertisements and transforms art into new forms.
We have worked with other prominent artists including Tyler Ramsey and renowned graphic designer Milton Glaser for previous artist series.
Kelsey is an international street artist with an amazing following. She is known for painting large scale interactive murals and has done so in six countries on three continents that allow people to become part of the art themselves. She is known best for her huge intricate angel wings that people can step in front of for pictures.
As an artist, she is passionate about combining art and the human experience. Participants are invited to step into the artwork, explore what inspires them and post pictures on social media. Kelsey’s art has been featured by Taylor Swift, Vanessa Hudgens, Carly Rae Jepsen, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Mashable and MTV.
Kelsey’s eye for detail, her beautiful take on the urban lifestyle and take on the human condition made her the perfect fit for a great addition to the #ArtLives installment.
RAREFORM is lucky to hang her stunning pink butterfly billboard in Los Angeles for viewership by the entire city. After two weeks, this massive piece of art will be taken down and turned into 50 backpacks, 130 tote bags and 80 accessory bags.
