Our Process

How we do it

We recycle billboard vinyl and turn it into unique, durable bags and products. Over the past six years we've processed 2 million pounds of vinyl that's destined for landfills.

We collect bold billboard vinyls from all over the country - currently repurposing 50,000 lbs a month into one-of-a-kind products.

Not all billboards are created equal

We love typography, colors, and abstract designs. We aren't into faces, food or logos and our team has strict cutting guidelines. We wash and cut the vinyl in our Los Angeles headquarters, creating unique designs for every product.

Customer Service was very helpful

I’m quite happy with my Rareform laptop sleeve and love the sustainability/circular economy approach of the company, so I wanted to include a gift card into an Instagram giveaway I was hosting. However, I was only able to spend $40, and at the time that option wasn’t available. I sent a quick inquiry email to customer service, and a wonderfully helpful person named Kara rapidly responded back that they had added the $40 option for me. Thanks! :)

What a terrific tote

I purchased the Basic Tote and was so thrilled with it that I gave my nieces an e-gift card so they could each purchase one too. It is a great bag that can hold a purse, your lunch, a book, and still have plenty of room to toss in a sweater. Plus I simply love the idea that this was made from materials destined for the landfill. Everybody wins with Rareform!!!!
